Glad that you made it through, humor intact. How long do they make you wait for results?
I will probably get the results next month at my next appointment. However, I have a feeling that if they actually find anything 'bad' I will be called. My impression from the doc (it's a student teaching hospital, so technically I think he's a resident) was he's not expecting to find anything, they're just trying to rule out possibilities. And, no, it was no comfoting to have them say to me "We don't think it's cancer because you're so young."
(I would be willing to email folks if anyone actually wants the gorey details, but there is no way I am posting them here. I would not do that to anyone, and it's rather personal.)
I did have a long conversation with my mom to the effect that she had similiar problem when she was younger. I really wish she had mentioned this, oh about 4 years ago, and saved me much freaking out.
The blood tests that I got the results of on Monday also suggest that things are so far OK, which is a good thing.
